Friday, April 9th, 2010

Well, looks like North to Maine: a Journey on the Appalachian Trail will be having it’s second NYC reading soon.

The reading will be of the first act (venue hours prevent a full read) and will take place at 6:30pm on Wed. April 28th @ Eastern Mountain Sports in Soho (530 Broadway, the intersection of Broadway and Spring)  The show is sponsored by Eastern Mountain Sports, Gear-To-Go Outfitters, Gregory Packs, Osprey Packs, and Superfeet. free beer and food will be provided by Brooklyn Brewery and Wholefoods Markets. We will also raffle off some free gear afterward and there will be a Q&A with the audience.

There’s going to be a great cast including myself, Penny Pollak, Nathan Richard Wagner, Doug Rossi, Chris Kind, Phill Cherry, and directed by Bricken Sparacino.

There is no charge for this event, but there will be an $8 suggested donation, the proceeds of which will be donated to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and the Dramatists Guild Fund.

So anyway, Free Beer, Free Food, Free Stuff, and Charity, What’s not to like?

Hope to see you there.

Hello World!

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

Well, the site is finally up.

A big thanks goes out to my friend a web master Beezy Douglas, without whom this wouldn’t have been possible.  I’d also like to give a shout out to my friend Eric Moore for doing all the awesome custom art, for  “North to Maine”, “Afterall”, “Trojan Men”, and “Snow White Zombie”.  Eric is the author of “Youthtopia” and “The Taily Bone”s (which I can’t seem to find right now or I’d give you a link) and also a terrific guy, who worked with me on the now defunct/suspended Antipants Comics.  He’s a phenominal artist and I feel so lucky that I have his number on speed-dial.

Anyway, if you’re reading this, enjoy the site, and enjoy my scrawlings!
